I already have an account on my iPad and want to play in the browser

Open UnitedGP on your iPad. If you have not logged out, click on „Resume”. If you have logged out and your account is connected to GameCenter, login with the GameCenter button. Now click on options in the top right corner. Here you can set an E-Mail and password for your account, or you can connect it to your Facebook account. You receive a STAR Bonus when you activate your E-Mail. Now go to http://www.unitedgp.net and log in with the E-Mail and passwort you have set or you can use the Facebook button.

I have an account on the iPad but am not connected with E-Mail and password, and also not with Facebook or GameCenter

For security reasons we recommend, that you at least connect your account with GameCenter, so that you can always login on this device and also from different devices. Otherwise an account without E-Mail and password can only be played from this device and the account can be lost, for example when the device is reset to factory settings or during a device actualization.

I had an account on my iPad, but with “Resume” I get logged into a different account

This can have two reasons:

  1. You might have logged out and another account has been saved on your device
Solution: Do not click on “Resume”, but on “Login”. Now select the login type that you have always used for your account.
  2. You have always been logged into GameCenter, but are not logged in anymore
    S
olution: Log into GameCenter with your device. You can find instructions and more information about the GameCenter here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202097

What is the “Resume” button in the iPad version?

As long as you do not manually log out of your UnitedGP account on your iPad, you automatically keep playing with the account previously played on the iPad.

If you have logged out and the game shows the “Resume” button, it means that you have a “local account” on your device. As long as you have not added an E-Mail and password, or connected it to Facebook or GameCenter, you can only play it on this one device, and only when you are not playing another UnitedGP account on this device.

For security reasons we recommend, that you at least connect your account with GameCenter, so that you can always login on this device and also from different devices. Otherwise an account without E-Mail and password can only be played from this device and the account can be lost, for example when the device is reset to factory settings or during a device actualization.

I have an account in the browser with E-Mail and password and want to play on my iPad

Install UnitedGP on your iPad and open the app. Click on “Login”. Here you can login with E-Mail and password.

I have an account in the browser with Facebook login and want to play on my iPad

Install UnitedGP on your iPad and open the app. Click on “Login”. Here you can select Facebook login. Once you confirm the Facebook request you will be logged into your UnitedGP account.

I have created an account in the browser without registration (“Play now”)

As long as you have not logged out or deleted your cookies, go to http://www.unitedgp.net and click on “Login”. Your browser should now login to your account. Finish the tutorial and at its end enter your E-Mail and password, or click on the Facebook button. You can also go to “options” at the top right and enter your E-Mail and password there or connect your account to Facebook.

When I click on the Facebook button at login, a new/other account opens

You have most likely always used an account with E-Mail and password and are now trying to use the Facebook login button. If you have another E-Mail in your Facebook account than the one you used for your UnitedGP registration, we cannot identify you for the login. Because of this, a new account was created at your first Facebook login click. You can keep logging into your real account with your E-Mail and password.

If you want to connect your real UnitedGP account with Facebook, please contact the support at support_en@unitedgp.net. We can then delete the new account. After that you can connect your real account to Facebook using the options menu from inside the game.

Activation actions and changing your driver tactics are the easiest ways to influence the outcome of a race.

Actions

There are 10 different actions that you can activate during the race. Each action has a different effect, so choosing the right one at the right time is important.

Each action stays active for a set amount of time.

When you activate an action you are shown an info box about the action details.

Hint: To view the action details you can perform a longpress on any action icon to open the info screen. The screen also opens when you click on a currently activated action.

At the beginning not all actions are available, you need to unlock them through research. You also start with just 5 actions that you can use for free during each race.

Over time you will unlock all actions through the research tree, you will unlock more actions to be allowed per race, and you can extend the duration that actions will stay active.

List of actions:

  • Full speed - Increases top speed by 50 - Decreases component durability by 10%
  • Corner slamming - Corner speed is increased by 50 - Driver energy reduced by 10%
  • Iron Man - Increases driver energy by 20% - Improves handling by 20
  • Full Focus - Improves breaking and corner speed by 25 - Driver energy reduced by 10%
  • Tyre Treatment - Improves tyre durability by 30%
  • High revs / RPM - Improves acceleration by 60 - Decreased tyre durability by 10%
  • Longlife Oil - Improves component durability by 40% - Decreases acceleration and top speed by 20
  • Engine power pack - Improves top speed and acceleration by 25 - Decreased tyre durability by 10%
  • Special brake fluid - Improved breaking by 40 - Decreases component durability by 10%
  • Energy drink - Increases driver energy by 15 - Decreases stress by 15 (This is the only action without a duration but with an instant, permanent, one-time effect)

Driver tactics

You can change your driver’s tactics at any time during a race.

There are three different settings possible: defensive, balanced and aggressive.

Choosing the right tactic at the right moment can bring your racing team closer to reaching your goals.

  • Defensive tactics are good for blocking your opponents. But the components wear is increased significantly. Your driver will also tire much faster.
  • Balanced tactics is the standard setting and it’s set at the begining of each race.
  • Aggressive tactics are good to improve your overtake chances. But the components wear is increased significantly. Your driver will also tire much faster.

The key to success is to use the driver tactics at the right time. Keep a close eye on how the race progresses to pick the right moment.

As everywhere else, money management is an important aspect in UnitedGP. You will need a steady income of credits to pay for the production of components, hire good drivers and other staff, buy tyres, run free practice, and more.

The second currency in UnitedGP are STARS. STARS can be used at many places throughout the game to give your team the edge over your opponents.

There are many ways to earn credits and STARS throughout UnitedGP:

Sponsor

Your sponsor pays you a regular income, and all you have to do for that is to collect it regularly. The payment amount depends on your career progress, and it can be increased with research
You also receive a bonus through your season sponsor.

Make sure that you collect your money at least once a day, otherwise you will waste money.

Quest rewards

While you are driving your races, fighting to win the season or race series, you can always work on quests to earn credits and STARS.
The rewards for quests vary greatly based on their difficulty, but the extra income is always worth it.

Race rewards

After every race you drive you earn race rewards based on your result. The reward amount you can earn is based on your racing class.

Race target

Before each career race you will receive a race target that you have to reach to receive an additional reward payment.

Everytime you reach your race target, the target for the next race will get harder. If you miss your target, the target for the next race will get easier.

Season rewards

Seasons are not only fun and push you ahead in your career, they also earn you a great extra income, especially if you complete them in a good position

You can also earn a nice amount of STARS when you successfully complete a season.

Race series rewards

While the reward amounts you can earn for a season are quite a bit higher than those you can earn for a race series, the advantage of a race series is that you can earn the rewards much faster. While a season takes several days to complete, a race series takes a maximum of 3 hours, and can be completed in under an hour.

Hint: it is a good idea to always sign up for a season and a race series. That way your career races count as regular race, season race and series race at the same time.
That also means that your investment of car components will earn a higher payment than if you drive just a regular career race.

Race Series are a new type of racing mode with a completely different setup than the UnitedGP seasons.

Series are not only a great way to earn more credits, XP and STARS, they are also a great challenge that can be completed in a single gaming session. Each race series can be completed in about 30 to 40 minutes.

To start your race series, go to SEASON and in upper part of the screen choose RACE SERIES.

How do race series work

Once you start your race series, you will have about 3 hours to complete 5 races on the currently active race track. If the current race track is about to change, your remaining races will be driven on the new track.

Each race series has 10 participants. Each participant will drive exactly 5 races, and the results from all five races are counted. This means that every race counts. One bad result can ruin your complete series, as you have no chance to improve that result in a later race.

Only career races count for a race series, if you drive a custom race before completing 5 career races, that custom race will not be taken into the calculation.

The series overview shows the results for all 10 teams and gives the current standing.

There is one category in the Hall of Fame for the most successful race series contestants.

Rewards

On the right side of the race series screen you will see the rewards you can receive from the race series. You can earn XP, credits and STARS.

Rewards for a race series depend on your racing class. The higher the class, the higher the rewards will be.

Hint: You can participate in a season, race series and custom races at the same time. This means that you can collect rewards from different competitions for the same race!

Seasons become available at class PRO, Level 15.

Seasons consist of 6 race tracks (in class ACE or LEGEND it’s 10). Each day you have two tracks and the group is fixed from the beginning.

Your goal is to reach the best possible result on each race track. You can race unlimited times on each race track, but only your best result will count from that race track.

Seasons are also a great way to earn credits and STARS. The rewards are shown in the season overview.

How do seasons works?

Random groups of race teams take part in this competition. Once the season starts, the opponents don’t change anymore.

When you decided to take part in a season, the next step is to choose your season sponsor. Depending on your goals, you should choose the offer that best fits your situation.

Promotion

Classes below Ace

Before you reach class ACE, you have 6 race tracks per season. From those 6 races your best three results are taken to calculate your race points in the table.

Example: If your top 3 results are 25 points, 10 points and 12 points, then your total race points would be 47. It’s possible to have a maximum of 75 race points, this is achievable if you win 3 race tracks. For each one you get 25 race points which comes out to the maximum of 75. Other results do not count for your race points but additional wins will come into play in case of a draw.

Classes ACE and LEGEND

With the unlocked second car your seasons become even interesting and more challenging. Plus, once you reach Class ACE, your seasons have 10 race tracks.

The top 5 results are used to calculate your table standings. Additionaly you can have two cars at the same time in the same race track. With this, maximum amount of achievable points is much higher from previous classes.

For example: With two cars at the same time in the same race track you can win up to 43 race points per race. But this will happen only if one of your cars finishes first (25 race points) and the other car finishes second (18 points).

In case of a draw, the number of victories is also considered. With the same number of victories the teams place as a draw. Only the teams that placed above the green line are promoted to a new racing class (some racing classes require more than one promotion).

Track overview

This screen shows which race track is currently active and which one will follow.

Here you can find lots useful information about the current race track, and you can see when the race track will switch. Clicking on the following race tracks will provide you information about that race track. With this info you know what car configuration you will need at that time, so that you can plan upfront and produce car components on time.

History

The Seasons history shows you an overview of your past seasons. Here you can see how you advanced through the seasons.
